Lexington Minuteman Re-inactment l - For the History Buff ~
The Lexington Minute Men are dedicated to honoring those brave Patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Nation's freedom.
From those who first fell on Lexington Green, to the heroes of today, we hope to continue telling the story of American Independence.
Those who join our company will enjoy reenacting 18th century life as a soldier in the militia and the Continental Army. We also participate in many ceremonial activities including parades, inaugural events, dedications, trade shows, and more.
We consider ourselves historians and enthusiastically and meticulously research our time period and those we represent.
For the history buff don't forget about the Freedom Trail in Boston
The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mi path through downtown Boston, Massachusetts, that passes by 16 locations significant to the history of the United States. Marked largely with brick, it winds between Boston Common to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. Stops along the trail include simple explanatory ground markers, graveyards, notable churches and buildings, and a historic naval frigate. While most of the sites are free or suggest donations, the Old South Meeting House, the Old State House, and the Paul Revere House charge admission. The Freedom Trail is overseen by the City of Boston's Freedom Trail Commission and is supported in part by grants from various nonprofits and foundations, private philanthropy, and Boston National Historical Park.

Acupuncture has proven to be a holistic, safe and effective remedy for many medical conditions. Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of very fine needles at specific points on the body. This process stimulates movement of energy within the body, allowing natural healing to take place. Acupuncture practitioners are trained to select these points, based on over 3,000 years of experience in China.
Acupuncture helps to prevent illness by improving the overall functioning of the body's immune and organ systems. Acupuncture is helpful for treating existing illnesses and injuries, preventing both recurrence of illnesses and new illness and improving overall health.
Our Clinic is conveniently located in Waltham, MA. We have successfully used acupuncture to help hundreds of patients around Boston area.

What’s best is you’re working your full body in every boxing class by throwing four basic punches: jab, cross, hook, and uppercut in combinations called out by the trainer. The combinations in our boxing workout classes, from the warm-up to the rounds and core, are endless. Your body will never get used to our boxing workouts because they’re different every time! Our members love that the classes are short and effective. Combining strength training, stamina, and core exercises. Did we mention the added cool factor? After all, punching things is our cardio!

Understanding the flight training process can be quite baffling. This section should hopefully give you an insight into the various stages associated with the pursuit of a Private Pilot Certificate, from initial interest to issuance of your certificate.
Step 1: Take an Introductory Flight
If you are interested in learning to fly, an introductory flight is the first logical step. During your first flight, an experienced flight instructor will take you through an abbreviated lesson from preflight to tie down. You will have the opportunity to taxi the airplane and once at altitude, you will have what will likely be your first experience with flying an airplane. This will also be the first entry in your pilot logbook, as the flight time counts towards a private pilot certificate.
Step 2: Post-Flight Evaluation
Once you have completed the introductory flight you should evaluate whether you think flying is for you. For those who truly believe they want to fly, but found the first flight a bit nerve-racking, we recommend taking a few lessons. Flying in small airplanes is usually a new experience for most people and often a few flights will allow a person to become accustomed to the unique sensations that lie at the root of many a pilots’ passion for flying small aircraft.

Flameworking, is the art of manipulating molten hot glass using a torch. Pre-formed glass rods and tubes can be heated and manipulated into beads, figurines, ornaments, jewelry, sculpture, and more! Even within the span of one class each student will create multiple objects made almost entirely on their own.
Glass fusing is the process of creatively cutting and arranging sheet glass and other bits in which to "fuse" or melt in a kiln overnight. The glass can also be slumped into molds to form bowls and other shapes. One of a kind jewelry, sun-catchers, kitchenware, and more can be made with this fun process.
Come enjoy your morning java and dig into clay in this workshop designed to let your creative juices flow! Students will learn to use simple molds along with basic ceramic construction techniques to make a useful or sculptural piece of art! All materials included.
